The Standard Fireworks Rajaratnam College for Women, Sivakasi is proud to have alumnae who are ranged over the world and who have a strong sense of devotion to the institution. PARTICIPATION IN ACADEMIA

Internal Quality Assurance Cell Member for planning, guiding and monitoring Quality Assurance and Quality Enhancement activities of the institution.
Board of Studies Member for formulating the content of various courses, reviewing and updating the content from time to time and to introduce new courses of study

OFFERING EXPERTISE

Organizing Seminars / Workshops / Programmes for the students, members, and society at large.
Some of the topics are: Human Traffic, Establishment of Home Garden, Yoga for Women, Motivation Skills for Students, Orientation on CA, Goal Setting, Self- Analysis, Future Career Prospects for Successful Life, Queen Bee- Leadership Excellence for Women, CSIR-NET, Cyber Security, Aari work, Scope of Nutrition, Research on Drug Designing, Gandhia Sinthanai
Mentoring the slow learners through the Remedial coaching classes
Paving ways to crack NET/SET/CSIR and other Competitive Exams
Creating Awareness Programmes on Eco-environ, Women Safety and Cyber Security
Conducting Career Guidance Programme on Interview Techniques and Preparation

ASSISTANCE IN EMPLOYABILITY

Honing the students’ employability skills through Job oriented/Skill based courses and Computer based courses
Fostering the economic growth of the needy through the Young Women Entrepreneurship Development Cell
Helping the students get placed at their respective organizations through the alumnae network
Providing opportunities for the deserving alumnae to get placed within the institution as Teaching and Non-teaching faculty members

MENTORSHIP AND SCHOLARSHIPS

Giving merit cum means scholarships to the deserving students
Promoting fund to support the Scholarship Fund – (a prominent alumna donated Rs.40, 000/- for the Annual Scholarship for the destitute students)

SUPPORT SYSTEM

Utilising the Association fund for the infrastructure –(Food Court in the premises)
Offering Fee concession for the outstanding players – (Rs.30, 000/- is given through Alumnae Association)
Offering Iron-folic acid (IFA) supplementation for the players to prevent iron deficiency anemia
Raising funds on the remarkable days like Batch Meets, Jubilees – (received a significant amount of Rs. 1,39,000/- on the Golden Jubilee Celebration)
Mobilizing and generating resources and funds through subscription or membership fee to utilize towards the promotion of the institution
Awarding prizes to rank holding students
Donating books to the Departments and Library
Assisting in placement training

Ertiga Car

The S.F.R. College Alumnae Association donated a seven-seater, Ertiga Car of worth Rs.11,74,976/- (which includes Insurance, Road tax and extra accessories) to the College. Contributing a car for the college through the Alumnae Association significantly enhances the educational experience and well-being of the students. It provides increased accessibility, financial relief, and educational opportunities while promoting alumnae engagement and community support. Such donations exemplify the spirit of giving back and making a positive impact on future generations of students.
